A hackathon on AI-based HR recruiting automation was held in Milan, organized by Huawei, PwC, and several other international companies. A total of 11 teams participated in the competition, and together with our team, we achieved 2nd place.
Our solution focused on automating the candidate recruitment process.
- A company publishes open positions in the job market, and candidates apply either through email or the company’s website.
- Applications and CVs are automatically collected into a system integrated with the company website and corporate email.
- The system then analyzes each CV, compares it with the requirements of the specific position, evaluates candidates against each other, and generates summaries and rankings.
- The information of the top-ranked candidates is then sent to recruiters for further review.

In addition, we proposed an interactive extension by integrating the system with LinkedIn. With this feature, the system could continuously analyze strong candidates on LinkedIn and recommend suitable profiles to recruiters.
Although our solution attracted the interest of company representatives, the winning team deserved first place. The reason was simple: they had more experience in this field and already had real B2B users for their project.
